Ride and have fun: Airfield Chapter at MOTORWORLD Region Stuttgart

As part of the "Harley Owners Group", the world's largest motorcycle club with 1.5 million members, the "Airfield Chapter – Germany" bears its location in its name.

The club, which brings together more than 100 passionate members, was established in early 2009 at Böblingen airfield, and is still at home there today. Even back then, Harley riders came together for regular meets, before finally, in 2013 on the opening of the Stuttgart Süd Harley-Davidson dealership at MOTORWORLD Region Stuttgart, the Airfield Chapter was founded.

And it is still going strong today. Members meet up on every first and third Friday of the month, and can be joined by anyone who is interested in the fascinating Harley-Davidson world. When the weather is fine, up to around 50 bikes can then be seen standing in front of the MOTORWORLD hangar halls (see photograph). During the season, the members of the Airfield Chapter undertake day trips together practically every weekend, or even spend several days on the road. The winter months are spent go-carting, bowling, or playing skittles. The main focus at the club is on enjoying a common hobby and meeting like-minded people. Or, to put it in a nutshell, to “ride and have fun”:
