2016 Brough Superior SS100 EXP. No. 002 By Anthony Godin

Registered 1st June 2016 this Brough SS100 is the second of the pre production specials built, hand built at the Brough factory in Toulouse, France it features some unique components that only the prototype models had. The bike was built specially for Eric Patterson who rode an 1100cc Brough at the Bonneville salt flats in 2011 breaking the existing AMA 1350-A-VG speed record with an average of 124.98 Mph over the measured mile.

The bike was exhibited at many shows during the early promotion of the new Brough Superior motorcycles, Eric also rode this bike in speed trails in Hungary being clocked at over 140 mph.

The bike has covered approximately 1000 miles and was retuned to the factory in June2019 for a service and has also had a recent check over in our workshop. It remains in excellent condition and is supplied with Eric’s own personal number plate B2 EGP and UK road registration documents.

A highly collectable motorcycle and a significant part of the Brough Superior story this is one of only 10 pre production bikes built, it is unlikely that another one will appear on the open market again any time soon and so represents a unique opportunity for any serious collector.
