”Charade” Leather Jacket by Les-Motocyclettistes

Although Montlhéry was emblematic of the beginning of the motor sports rage, Charade is the symbol of the golden age of Continental Circus. “The most amazing circuit in the world.” said Phil Read who raced against Redman, Hailwood and Agostini… All of these great names in racing inspired Les Motocyclettistes to design the “racer” jacket, which also offers protection while out on a leisurely motorcycle ride.

The Charade jacket is made from two to three pieces of horse leather (the back from a single piece). It is extremely comfortable, thanks to its perfect cut. The topstitched shoulder and elbow protection is created without hidden padding. Straight central zipper, water-resistant thanks to a wide inner flap, collar with snap, inside pocket, 1930s to 1950s style Waldes zippers, navy blue cotton twill lining woven in Japan, with inside diamond shaped topstitched padding.
