Fuel Motorcycles Launches The New Dust Devil Boots

By spring of 1924, Camberley, Great Britain, was hosting the first-ever official scramble race.

In this early era, riders rode motorcycles that were designed primarily for road rather than dirt use, racing across the rough, all-natural terrain of the English countryside at full speed. These brave pioneers paved the way for motocross as all know it today.

With the “Dust Devil” boots, Fuel Motorcycles want to be a tribute to that time, an exciting moment that would later lead to one of the most popular motorsports in the world.

From this inspiration, the design process began. And after several months of development, the Dust Devil boots were ready to be tested during the Scram Africa adventure. A very tough trip where the boots proved their strength on all types of surfaces and weather during the 2500 km from the Atlas Mountains to the dunes of the Sahara Desert.

The boots are made of full-grain cowhide leather construction, with suede leather on the front part. A natural wax coating is applied to the leather that gets better and more beautiful with time and usage. The sole is made of a durable compound rubber outsole with an anti-slip treatment. The four classic strap chassis allows for an adjustable fit and includes a side zipper for easy on and off and customized comfort. Reinforced shin plate and internal ankle inserts provide functional coverage should a ride take a turn for the worse. Finally, a waterproof membrane will keep your feet dry in case of rain or crossing a river. These boots fit the rest of the retro-styled Fuel gear and are ready to Leave the Main Road!
