Introducing The Airtail by Deathmachines of London – a masterpiece of bespoke craftsmanship and engineering. This custom motorcycle redefines minimalism and performance with a distinctive blend of artistry and precision.
From the ground up, The Airtail was meticulously disassembled, with its engine and gearbox vapor-blasted, inspected, and reassembled to ensure perfection. Every part of the bike, including its original instrumentation, has been restored and housed in a custom dashboard featuring authentic 1940 Merlin Spitfire aviation warning lights, offering a nod to vintage aviation.
At the heart of this machine, the 950cc engine has been transformed with polished, lightened, and balanced components. Featuring in-house gas-flowed cylinder heads, new valves, and twin 40mm Dellorto carbs, The Airtail delivers both power and elegance. A lightweight R.A.M. clutch and flywheel bring superior performance to this finely tuned motor.
The bike’s frame has been delugged and custom Airtailed, following the client’s vision to create a sleek and clean aesthetic. All electrical components are hidden from view, ensuring a minimalist design that does not compromise on functionality. Reduced switchgear and a custom wiring loom connected to an M-Unit control box allow for seamless control and refined handling.
Finished in a striking Italian Red gloss paired with satin Old English white, and featuring a hand-painted Moto Guzzi logo, The Airtail is a work of art on wheels – a bold statement of individuality and bespoke engineering that pushes the boundaries of motorcycle design.
The Airtail: crafted for those who dare to be different.
