Several years ago Breitling joined forces with Malle as the official timing partner of The Great Malle Rally – The longest motorcycle rally across Great Britain, then across every country in The Alps and now up into The Arctic. With the Malle team using Breitling Chronomats to time every stage of the Malle Rally adventures.
During one of the first Alpine Rally research trips, Malle were testing their adventure accessories up in the Swiss Mountains and a capsule collection with Breitling was very soon on the cards. Three Malle designs were selected by the Breitling design team. The first prototypes were then strapped to custom motorcycles and tested in the next 1500 mile rally adventure across The Alps and then in another 5500 mile motorcycle expedition into The Arctic.
The fact that these designs were first tested on a motorcycle expedition, means they have to be lightweight, water-resistant, dirt-resistant and extremely durable. Which makes each design perfect for daily travel and global adventures alike. Keeping your essentials dry, protected and organised in a timeless and utilitarian British design.
